Campaign Setup
How to start a live advertising campaign using the Vodra Ads Platform.
Create a Workspace
To start you will need to create a workspace at advertise.vodra.io. You can use your Vodra account to sign in, if you don't have one yet you can create one at vodra.io. All of the Brands and Campaigns you manage are held under a single Workspace. You can add more team members and assign various roles in the Workspace menu once signed in.
Create a Brand
You need to create a Brand before you assign a Campaign to it. You can navigate to the left side menu and select Brands, from there select "Add Brand" in the top right corner. If you are only representing a single Brand you will only need to create one, whereas if you are a talent agency or representing multiple brands you can add and manage them all from here. Name, Description, and URL fields may be shared with creators so add these with care.
Create a Campaign
Once you have added a Brand, you can create and assign a Campaign to it. This can be done from the Campaign section on navigational menu. Each Brand can have multiple Campaigns running under it and at the same time. For example, if your brand has two separate products being promoted you may want to create a unique campaign for each. This also applies to regional targeting, A/B testing or seasonal campaigns. Click "Create Campaign" in the top right corner and fill out the following information:
Select Brand (created in the previous stage)
Campaign Title
Description
This is important since we use comments here to help with campaign targeting/assignment. Make sure to explain the purpose of the campaign, target audience, type of product, and expected outcome/action.
Target URL
This is where audience members will be directed. You can use a UTM tracking link, we also provide our own tracking as well.
Platform Targets
Some product categories (gambling, alcohol, etc) are only available on certain platforms. We will do a review of your campaign before going live to make sure your product respects the platforms' terms of service.
Region Targeting
Here you can add which regions you would like to target or avoid. Keep in mind that livestreams are a widespread and international format. We recommend keeping regional selections as wide as possible for the best results.
Assets
Once your Campaign is created you can add the media assets for it. Go back to the Campaign menu and click "Assets" under the campaign you are working on. Check out our Campaign Formats and Best Practices or Contact us for assistance.
Once you have uploaded your Campaign's Assets, you can go back to the Campaign menu and click "Preview" to see how it will appear on stream.
Budget
Each Campaign requires a Budget to go live. This works similarly to Google AdSense or Meta Ads campaigns where you set a campaign budget upfront and it spends out of that as the results come in. We support fiat payments through Stripe or USDC crypto payments.
Start Campaign
When you are ready you can go to the "Preview" tab again to make sure everything is in order. From here you can launch your Campaign using the "Start Campaign Now" button. Once this is pressed your Campaign will still being broadcasted to streamers across our network. Keep in mind that it may take some time to warm up as we will have to assign, qualify, and continuously monitor streamers to ensure a good fit. This can be referred to as a "Learning Phase" as our algorithm sorts out the best placements based on your settings and objectives.
You will be able to monitor all results live from your Brand Dashboard and edit Campaign details at any time.
