# Campaign Setup

> How to start a live advertising campaign using the Vodra Ads platform.

## Create a Workspace

To start, you will need to create a workspace at [advertise.vodra.io](https://advertise.vodra.io). You can use your Vodra account to sign in — if you don't have one yet, you can create one at [vodra.io](https://vodra.io). All of the brands and campaigns you manage are held under a single workspace. You can add team members and assign various roles in the Workspace menu once signed in.

## Create a Brand

You need to create a Brand before you assign a Campaign to it. Navigate to the left side menu and select **Brands**, then select **Add Brand** in the top right corner. If you are only representing a single brand, you will only need to create one. If you are a talent agency or representing multiple brands, you can add and manage them all from here.

  Name, Description, and URL fields may be shared with creators, so add these
  with care.

## Create a Campaign

Once you have added a Brand, you can create and assign a Campaign to it from the **Campaign** section in the navigation menu. Each Brand can have multiple campaigns running simultaneously. For example, if your brand has two separate products being promoted, you may want to create a unique campaign for each. This also applies to regional targeting, A/B testing, or seasonal campaigns.

Click **Create Campaign** and fill out the following:

* **Select Brand** — Choose the brand created in the previous step
* **Campaign Title** — A clear name for internal tracking
* **Description** — Explain the purpose, target audience, product type, and expected outcome. We use this to help with campaign targeting and assignment.
* **Target URL** — Where audience members will be directed. You can use a UTM tracking link; we also provide our own tracking.
* **Platform Targets** — Some product categories (gambling, alcohol, etc.) are only available on certain platforms. We review campaigns before going live to ensure compliance.
* **Region Targeting** — Add regions to target or avoid. We recommend keeping selections as wide as possible for best results.

### Assets

Once your Campaign is created, you can add the media assets for it. Go back to the Campaign menu and click **Assets** under the campaign you are working on. You can upload campaign logos and creative assets directly from the dashboard. Once you have uploaded your Campaign's Assets, go back to the Campaign menu and click **Preview** to see how it will appear on stream.

### Budget

Each Campaign requires a budget to go live. This works similarly to Google Ads or Meta Ads — you set a campaign budget upfront and it spends as results come in. We support fiat payments through Stripe or USDC crypto payments.

## Start Campaign

When you are ready, go to the **Preview** tab to make sure everything is in order. Launch your Campaign using the **Start Campaign Now** button. Once pressed, your campaign will begin being broadcasted to streamers across our network.

  It may take some time to warm up as we assign, qualify, and continuously
  monitor streamers to ensure a good fit. This can be referred to as a "Learning
  Phase" as our algorithm sorts out the best placements based on your settings
  and objectives.

You will be able to monitor all results live from your [Brand Dashboard](/vodra-for-advertisers/brand-dashboard) and edit campaign details at any time.
